Default Woman suffers serious injuries on Severn Valley Railway platform

A woman is thought to have suffered serious leg injuries after she became trapped between a train and a platform on the Severn Valley Railway.

She was trapped for more than 90 minutes after somehow slipping while chasing a dog on the platform at Hampton Loade station in Shropshire.

Additional info:

A woman was trapped underneath a Severn Valley Railway train for 90 minutes after falling through the platform gap while trying to rescue her dog.

A man, believed to be her husband, also fell into the gap between the platform and the train as he tried to reach her yesterday.

It happened at Hampton Loade station on the Kidderminster to Bridgnorth line.

The train was just pulling off the station heading for Bridgnorth when the woman’s Jack Russell dog ran off down the platform.
